Gettin' a Roundtuit - New Year's Eve Picture Share

Anyone else have a problem with motivation from time to time?  Or better yet, just trying to find time to get everything done that needs to be done?  Well, I have just the thing for you:

A Round Tuit

Isn't this fantastic??  A good friend of mine, Becky of Clayful Creations, sent me this little magnet a long time ago after I was complaining about never having enough hours in a day to get everything done I need to get done (can yall relate??).  I laughed so hard when I opened it up.  As soon as I got it, I put it on my magnet board in my sewing room where I see it often.  Not only does it make me smile but believe it or not, it does sometimes have power to give me that little umph to get things done.  So now I am sharing it with all of you in hopes that it will help motivate you to "Get a round tuit."

And as promised, a few pictures from our New Year's Eve.  We kept things low key this year and hung out at my parents' house, ate some yummy food, had a cocktail or two, popped a few fireworks (thank goodness it wasn't freezing) and played some games.  And just to let you know.....in case you couldn't tell from the pics.....my nighttime photography needs a little more work.  :)  Hope everyone had a great New Year's!!

Nothing But Fabulous!

Whew. While I absolutely love the holidays, I am glad to have things finally slow down. We have had a whirlwind of activities over the last few days and it was soooo much fun. Our family had a wonderful Christmas and got to celebrate with lots of great friends and family. Some of which we don't see near enough. I am thankful that we were surrounded by loved ones during this time.

Santa was good to the kids. I am too tired to dig our way out of the cardboard, wrapping paper, twisty ties, tissue paper and clothing boxes tonight. The kids are still having a good time playing with their new toys and talking about all the fun things they have done or seen this week.

We ended the day at the movies to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Squeakquel:

While the kids thought it was fantastic, the hubs and I didn't love it as much. It had some funny parts, but overall, I didn't really find it that funny. But I do recommend it for the kids. My kids range in age from 6-10 and they ALL loved it. But I would recommend just waiting for the video. I think I would give it a 2.5-3 star review.

We are home now and I am thankful we have absolutely nothing to do tomorrow, nowhere to go and no particular time to get up. Alarm clock is OFF! I do promise to share some pics over the next few days!

I hope everyone had as wonderful of a holiday as we did! Leave me a comment and let me know how your holidays were?

Here's wishing everyone a very safe, happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!!
