Last Day for Custom Camera Bags & Totes!

Today is the last day to get in those custom orders for camera bags and totes. Tomorrow I will be taking the custom listings down for camera bags and totes and only listing ready to ship bags throughout the Summer. I will be offerering custom listings for my smaller items (i.e., camera straps, lens cozies, lens pouches, etc....). So if you have been itching to order a custom bag, today is the day!!!

Priddy Creations Etsy Shop

Here are just a few custom options currently in my store:

If time allows, I may throw up a custom listing from time to time. But it will not be many. We have a very busy Summer and I really want to be fair to my kiddos and family and cut back on some of my work schedule this Summer! I appreciate your understanding! I hope that everyone has a great Summer!!

Remodeling...

Well, most of you have heard me complain and gripe on here and on Twitter about all the remodeling we have been doing to put the house on the market. We have lived here for 5 years and really I have hardly put anything on the walls. I don't know why. Just lazy I guess. Well, since we were going to put the house up, I figured I better finally do it to try and stage it a little better. NOW I remember why I haven't. UGH! It takes forever to find "just the right" artwork, pictures, etc...... I made it my mission to work on the master bedroom, the living room and kitchen. Over a 3 day time period, I think I went to 10 stores looking for "just the right" pieces. I think I went to Hobby Lobby 4 times! That seems to be where I hit the motherload. But it did take me FOUR trips to find just the right thing. Below are a few of my finds. Still needs some work but I am at least happy with the progress so far. And get this.....we decided we aren't going to move afterall. BAHAHAHAHAHA! But at least now my house will look like I want it! You can click on the pic to make it larger. My BEST find....vinyl lettering on clearance at Stein Mart for $7 (that includes tax). My favorite find....the bench I found in Canton (which has been sitting in my sunroom collecting dust until now). New molding in my living room is not far behind. Our house had dark, stained molding throughout the WHOLE thing. Thank goodness at least half of it is gone now!

We still have lots of work to do but we did finally get the new roof. Once the molding is completely done in the master bedroom, we are moving on to closing in the shop for my new sewing studio and remodeling the sunroom. Ahhhhh the joys of owning your own home!!

Happy Saturday everyone! My boys celebrate their birthdays tomorrow (Ethan will be 6 and Troy will be *#&$*#).

CHECK.IT.OUT!! New iPhone Case...So In Love!

So I head over to the Apple store to get Troy a new iPhone case. He was carrying this one:

After only a few months, it fell apart. The clip ended up coming apart and the fold of the flap just broke apart and cracked leaving something that was no longer usable. Now Troy is VERY hard on his things (which is why I hardly ever buy him anything expensive). So when I went to the Apple store, I was basically looking for something indestructible. Or at least something that would put up a fight when Troy tried to take it down. This is what I ended up getting him:

This is exactly what I was looking for! It is called a 3G Defender case made by Otter Box and it is supposed to be the toughest, most durable case on the market right now. I wasn't too sure how he would feel about the yellow/black combo, but surprisingly, he liked it. I am hoping this one will last a while.

Not to be outdone, I had to get me a new iPhone case. I loved the Otter Box because 1) it is durable; 2) it has a built in protector screen; 3) it keeps your phone dust free (there is not one area of the iPhone that is not covered); and 4) it has a clip you can use for when you are carrying around your phone and your pants/shorts have no pockets. LOL! AND, the best part is that you can use the clip AND have the protector case on it at the same time. Most of the ones I have seen in the past would not let you use a clip if you had a case on it. A two-part deal that can be used together or separately. That was the icing for me! With my kids playing sports, I am always at the ballpark and some of my shorts DO NOT have pockets!! Soooo irritating! But, I really did not want a yellow/black one or even a solid black one. I wanted something girly. An wa-la......my NEW Otter Box.

Don't you just love it? They were completely out of the pink ones when I bought Troy's but they did put one aside for me when they received their new shipment that I picked up today. I.AM.IN.LOVE!
Happy Friday everyone!! I hope everyone has a great weekend!
