New Product Listings & Some Giveaways

I have been a busy bee lately!  Between working on custom orders, stuff for the kids and every day life, I did manage to get a few brand spankin' new products made and listed.  

First I started off with two fabulous products inspired by a set of Tessa Ann's buttons:

We have a busy weekend ahead!  We were supposed to kick off Mardi Gras tonight but the weather cancelled that.  We have basketball, softball, baseball tryouts, birthday party and Valentine parties to look forward to over the next few days.  That makes me tired just typing all that.

So what have you been up to lately?  Any fun plans for the weekend?

Creative Team Spotlight & A Few New Products!

I have posted previously about being part of this fabulous creative team.  Today is my first spotlight as a creative team member.  I really had a great time creating around Tessa Ann's gorgeous buttons!  Please hop on over to her blog to read all about it!

And guess what?  The items I created are in my shop, ready to ship!! Both are ONE OF A KIND creations!

This particular strap is a little different than my others.  I added some soft and fun knit ruffles for added texture.  A different spin on ruffles/pleats.  I wanted something a little more finished and flush.  Two different looks since it is reversible.  And of course please check out the gorgeous, handmade polymer clay buttons my by Tessa Ann.

And I didn't stop with the camera strap.  I also created and fun and classic CF/Business card wallet featuring the same great damask, more of Tessa Ann's gorgeous buttons and a fun polkadot pleat.  You will definitely be shooting in style!

And last, but certainly not least, a simple and fun ruffled strap.  This reminds me of all the ruffled capris I used to make my girls!  It is also ready to ship!!  Subtle but oh so fun!!  There will be more of these in different colors.  I will also be offering it as an option on ANY camera strap.

LOTS and LOTS of New Etsy Listings!

I have been a busy, busy bee. Whew. LOTS of new listings in my Etsy shop. MOST are also ready to ship. I have also put some camera bags back into my shop. I took a little break from making them because they are time consuming and needed to focus on other things. I am back to listing them. However, with regard to my camera bags, I CANNOT guarantee Christmas delivery. If you are wanting a camera bag as a Christmast gift, email me PRIOR to purchasing to see if I can make it by then.

Random Goodness

A little of this and that.....

A new option that I will be adding to my product line. Embroidery on my camera bags. Looks good doesn't it? This particular bag was made using Patty Young's Mezzanine.



We live in Texas where it really NEVER snows. Well, we have gotten snow two years in a row. This time it was just a tease but the kids got to feel it on their face a little. Nothing really stuck. Not enough to play in. But we could at least say we got snow! You probably need to click on the pics to actually see the flakes. It wasn't very heavy.

And we FINALLY made it for our annual visit to see Santa. Ethan asked him for a baby bulldog. That is the first I am hearing of that request. Ethan's shirt says "Dear Santa, I was Framed." HAHAHAHAHA!! If you knew Ethan, you would understand how perfect that is for him. He is one of those kids that is always saying "I didn't do it." :)

Another New Product - Camera Bag with Removable Divider

I am excited to bring you another new product! I have made my standard medium camera bag even better and added a remvoable divider to help keep those smaller accessories separated and protected. What is great about that is that if you need the full length of the bag, you can easily remove the divider without having to switch to a bigger bag.

Introducing My New Lens Cap Straps!

I am soooo super excited to introduce my new lens cap straps (aka lens cap leashes). A sweet customer of mine sparked the idea for these little sanity savers. She asked me to make her a "little bag" to keep her lens cap in while shooting because she is constantly misplacing it (I can relate.....I used to do it all the time). And instead of doing that, I came up with these. They have kept me from pulling my hair out trying to remember what I did with my lens cap while shooting!

So thanks Miss Rachel for your inspiration for this!! You should be getting yours soon!!

Busy, busy....and HAPPY about It

I don't know about everyone else, but I am extremely excited about the New Year so far. I definitely am thrilled with how my new year has started off so far. I put all of these babies in the mail on Monday (yep...check your mailboxes). And you know what.......I am NOT done AND happy about it! :) Three more went in the mail today and at least 3 more tomorrow. That, my friends, is why I have not listed anything new since last week. I did, however, re-list some old favorites. You can check them out in my Etsy shop. So keep those orders coming. I do have lots of new things cut and ready to sew and even a few that need to be photographed and listed. First I need to finish up my customs. Big plans people.....BIG PLANS! So stay tuned and like I said.......keep those orders coming!

Random Ramblings....

I am sorry that I have not been around to post much. I have been busy busy with orders (thanks everyone....my Etsy shop sale was a big success), back to school shopping and home improvement junk. School starts very soon and I am not ashamed to say that I am READY! My kids are just as ready. They claim there is absolutely NOTHING to do around here and hearing "I am bored" is getting really old.

Anyway, I do have lots of new camera straps in the works. I am trying to get caught up on orders so that I can get to making those. I have been hoarding lots of new fabrics just waiting for me to cut into for new projects.

My design group on eBay, StudioE, is gearing up for a launch that will start with week featuring Erin McMorris' Park Slope line. I will have a new design plus I will re-list a few faves. That starts on August 21 so be sure and search StudioE on eBay to sell of the great stuff!

I am also working on some new camera accessory items that hopefully I will debut in the next week or so. Keep an eye out for that!
